Tungsten Halogen Light Source

AstraNets Tungsten Halogen source contains a unique lamp with the lens fused into the glass envelope.  This ensures excellent coupling into a fibre, resulting in very high energy throughput and short integration times.

The source lamp is driven by a current-limiting power supply, which results in extra stability because it is largely unaffected by line voltage fluctuations.  The SMA coupling allows connection to standard patch cords.
